Rug Hooked Purse
Monday, July 28th, 10 am - 3 pm
 
I really enjoyed making this purse, all the color changes kept it interesting and I think it is just a beautiful design by Susan Quicksall.
 
We will get started on this together and meet again for the finishing at a to be determined date.

Mary Anne Nielsen will be teaching how to make this great market basket.  The basket has a solid oak bottom and leather handles.  Mary Anne has a very nice selection of reed colors and sizes to choose from to individualize the basket to your style.

Charming needle craft with the look of a hand-hooked rug.  No chart counting, only a nice steady rhythm.  Choose a pattern and I’ll get you started.

A small table mat done in blues and grays to commemorate the Civil War and in honor of the 150th birthday of Ripon.

This is a new class I am starting.  It will be just a short 2-hour class featuring a simple make-it and take-it project.  Something new every month!

July’s project will be wool strawberries with a little bead embellishing.

Very fun purse by Heart to Hand.  A knowledge of machine sewing is helpful, but I’ll be glad to help with that if needed, most of the work is by hand.  Stop in ahead of class to make your fabric selections.

Rug hooking with yarn and an Oxford punch needle.  Faster than traditional rug hooking and the hand-dyed, custom spun yarn by Barb Kemp of Hooked on Rugs is fantastic.  The yarn is also great for binding your rugs.
